By launching the Hand & Stone Scholarship Program, we can inspire future professionals, strengthen the wellness workforce, and highlight Hand & Stone’s leadership in giving back to the industry it champions.

Award Amount

One (1) $2,500 award for Fall 2026 season, open September 1 - October 31, 2026, at 11:59 PM PST. 

Eligibility/Qualifications

  • Be 18 years of age or older at the time of application.
  • Be enrolled in or accepted to an eligible U.S. Massage therapy program at:
  • a U.S.-accredited school leading to licensure or the applicable state-recognized equivalent;
  • a BCL Qualifying Partner School.
  • Demonstrate passion for the Massage therapy profession, commitment to education, and financial need.
  • Not have previously received a scholarship administered by Beauty Changes Lives, including scholarships funded by Hand & Stone or any other BCL partner.
  • Not be an employee, contractor, or immediate family member of BCL, or an affiliated vendor. Current Hand & Stone employees eligible

BCL reserves the right to verify eligibility and make final determinations.

Application Requirements

  1. Complete the online application and submit proof of enrollment from a massage therapy program by uploading your progress report or official acceptance letter from an accredited school.
  2. Submit a 3-minute maximum, YouTube video (Not a short) with a public link answering the following questions (if the video exceeds the 3-minute requirement, or it's in a short format, the application will be declined): 
  • Why is a career in massage therapy your passion?
  • How will this scholarship help you achieve your goals?
  • What financial challenges have you faced, and how will this scholarship change your life?
