Four (4) $2,500 Scholarships – Scholarship Program for Nail Technology Students  

The Summer 2025 Scholarship season opens from June 1, 2025 – July 31, 2025, at 11:59 PM PST.

Scholarship Description & Award Information 

In 2022, Jan Arnold, Secretary & Founding Member of Beauty Changes Lives and the Co-founder and Style Director of CND®, championed the fundraising efforts of nail manufacturers to launch the first, I ❤️ NAILS Scholarship Program, administered by Beauty Changes Lives, with additional support from manufacturers and private donations. The efforts were able to support ten (10) $2,000 Advanced Education Scholarships for licensed Nail Technicians, and eleven (11) $2,000 Nail Technology Student Scholarships, with a total of $42,000 in scholarships. 

This year, Jan Arnold, with her passion and continued support of nail technicians in the professional beauty space, with the help of both new and past manufacturers, is happy to announce the I ❤️ NAILS Student Scholarship administered through Beauty Changes Lives, with an initial support of $10,000 for the Summer 2025 Scholarships season, launching on June 1st. 

The following brands generously contributed to the Summer 2025 I ❤️ NAILS Nail Technology Student Scholarship Program: CND®, Johnny Ngo of WhaleSpa/Skyline Beauty Supply) and private donations. 

Applicant Qualifications 

I ❤️ NAILS Nail Technology Student Scholarship applicant qualifications are: 

  1. Complete online application and submit proof of enrollment from an accredited school/institution nail technology program, leading to licensure in the U.S. or Canada. 
  2. The applicant must be eighteen (18) years of age or older by the start date of the program.

Application Requirements

I ❤️ NAILS Nail Technology Student Scholarship applicant requirements are: 

  1. Complete online application and submit proof of enrollment by uploading your: progress report, or official acceptance letter from an accredited school. 
  2. Submit a 3-minute maximum, YouTube video with a public link answering the following questions (if the video exceeds the 3-minute requirement the application will be declined):  
  • What made you decide this is your passion and give reasons why you are choosing this career path?
  • Explain why you believe that continuing education is important in your development, even after you have obtained your license?
  • Nail professionals are artists that work on tiny canvases. Provide an example of your work and explain why your design symbolizes you.
