Name of Scholarship

it’s a 10® Haircare Cosmetology Student Scholarship for students interested in a career in the professional beauty industry that leads to licensure. This scholarship is open to accepted or currently enrolled cosmetology students in an accredited school/institution and will be awarded through Beauty Changes Lives.

It’s a 10® Haircare founded National Love Your Hair Day on October 10th, to champion diversity in beauty and challenge everyone to embrace their uniqueness.

Ten TOTAL (10) $10,000 scholarships | $100,000 total scholarships 

Five (5) $10,000 scholarships 

Five (5) $10,000 scholarships to be provided during the Fall 2024 season from September 1 – October 31, 2024. 

Applicant Qualifications

1. Must be a new or currently enrolled student in a cosmetology program in an accredited school/institution in the U.S.
2. The applicant must be eighteen (18) years of age or older by the start date of the program.

 Application Requirements

1. Complete online application and submit proof of enrollment in a cosmetology program by uploading your: progress report, or official acceptance letter from the school.
2. Submit a 3-minute maximum, YouTube video with a public link answering the following questions: 

• How do you embrace your individuality and uniqueness and explain how that supports your career within the professional beauty industry?
• Why should you be chosen as a recipient of the scholarship and how will it assist you on your career journey?
• How will learning all the disciplines within your cosmetology program provide you with more opportunities?
