Sola Spark Student Scholarship - All Disciplines - Winter 2026

The Sola Spark Student Scholarship opportunity reflects Sola’s long-standing commitment to empowering beauty professionals to become independent entrepreneurs. Since its founding in 2004, Sola has reimagined salon ownership by offering high-end, move-in-ready private studios and the support needed for professionals to launch their own businesses — giving you control over your schedule, pricing, and creative vision instead of being tied to traditional salon constraints. By investing in these grants and scholarships, Sola is extending that mission: removing barriers, championing independence, and helping the next generation of beauty pros turn their passion into a thriving, self-owned business built on their own terms

Total of $2,500 for the Winter 2026 season

One (1) $2,500 scholarship for an aspiring licensure-track discipline (cosmetology, esthetics, massage, nails, barbering).

The Winter 2026 Scholarship season opens from December 1, 2025 – January 31, 2026, at 11:59 PM PST.

Applicant Qualifications

To qualify for Sola Spark Scholarships, applicants must:

• The applicant must be eighteen (18) years of age or older by the start date of the program.
• Must be a student accepted to or currently enrolled in a cosmetology, esthetics, massage, nails, barbering program in an accredited school/institution that leads to licensure in the United States and Canada.
• Not be an employee, contractor, or immediate family member of Sola, BCL, or affiliated vendors.

Application Requirements 

1. Complete online application and submit proof of acceptance or enrollment in a cosmetology, esthetics, massage, nails, barbering program by uploading your: school issued progress report, or official acceptance letter from the school.
2. Submit a 3-minute MAXIMUM, YouTube video with a public link answering the following questions: 

• Describe how receiving this scholarship would impact your life and move you forward in your goals as you complete your beauty education.
• What does your ideal career as a beauty professional look like? 
• Who or what has inspired you to pursue a career in the beauty industry?
• How would this scholarship help ease financial or educational challenges or make a difference in your ability to complete your training and launch your career?
