A mentee working with Brenton Lee in the Mentorship Matters program will gain invaluable insights from a seasoned industry professional. As a salon owner, Brenton offers firsthand knowledge of what it takes to run a successful salon, while his expertise as a WELLA Educator brings a unique perspective on working with brands as well as knowledge of cutting-edge skills in hair artistry. From understanding business basics to honing their creative vision, Brenton’s mentorship will empower mentees with the education and confidence needed to excel in their careers.

ABOUT BRENTON LEE
Brenton Lee started cutting hair at the age of fourteen. He found his niche as a hair artist and enrolled into beauty school at 16 years of age. Enrolled into L.A. Trade Tech is where he studied cosmetology and business. Brenton Lee has competed in numerous hairstyling competitions nationwide winning over 20 hairstyling awards. He is the owner and stylist of Brenton Lee Salon, which was launched in 2012, a trendy salon in Pasadena, CA and a Design Team Artist/educator for Wella. Brenton Lee travels throughout the U.S. training and teaching at major hair shows. One of his main focuses for the hair industry is to give back by teaching young professionals and offering his talents to support charities.
As a celebrity hair stylist, his work has been on red carpet events and TV shows, working with celebrities, such as Nia Long, Lindsay Lohan, Melody Scott Thomas, MC Lyte, and Susan Anton. He loves to be behind the scenes and has worked on many fashion shows and editorial photo shoots. He has been published in national hair magazines, such as Modern Salon, American Salon, HairShow, Canadian Hairdresser, and BehindTheChair.com for his award-winning looks.
Brenton Lee’s forte is to sculpt his client’s hair to fit their face shape, personality and lifestyle. Still “Oh so young” and driven his talents inspire him to be innovative and imaginative when creating trendsetting hairstyles.
